Due to Covid-19 and our concern for your health and safety, the League's Festival of Parties is on hold. But our support for youth music is stronger than ever. Read more about our plans and upcoming events to keep our student musicians playing.
The League holds multiple events throughout the year. Our Festival of Parties is an exciting array of events that provide participants with unique opportunities to enjoy the best venues, food, wine and music that Sonoma County has to offer. Other events include producing the longest-running Sing-Along Messiah in the country (or one of the longest!), and our popular Dinner is Served, a one-night event usually held in early March.

Music inspires creativity... and promotes community.

We invite you to participate in all these events. All proceeds support the Santa Rosa Symphony institute for Music Education in our schools, including:
  • Free Concerts for Youth which reach 12,000 elementary school students annually
  • Summer Music Academy for three weeks each summer for students ages 5 - 18
  • Classical Music in the Classroom - listening programs and in-school performances
  • Four Youth Ensembles who train and perform throughout the year
  • Simply Strings, a Systema-style program to teach violin to underserved elementary children
  • Adopt-a-School - chosen schools are afforded all the Symphony's programs, free of charge
